<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque detector that is easily assembled, lightweight, and inexpensive, without using special parts or heavy parts. <P>SOLUTION: The torque detector of the present invention is provided with a roughly rectangular slot 30 inside a housing 25a supporting a rolling bearing 26a of a shaft 24 in a case 22 and mounts a distortion detecting element 32 on a side wall 31 positioned inside the slot 30 and facing the rolling bearing 26a, so as to detect a pedaling force applied to a pedal as a torque. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
