<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the position of the range of a M/T mode from being displayed. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with a shift lever 1, indicator windows 3c, a slide plate 4, an indicator plate 5, a lock plate 6, and a cover plate 7. The slide plate 4 slides forward/backward, has a housing rack 4b, and includes an elongated hole 4a. The indicator plate 5 is disposed above the housing rack 4b to slide forward/backward via a guide projection 5a, includes a first relief hole 5b having a substantially horizontal T-shape, and has an indicator part 5d which occupies any of the indicator windows 3c. The lock plate 6 is provided above the indicator plate 5 to slide to the right and left via a guide projection 5e, has a second relief hole 6b of the elongated hole, and has a restricting means 8 which is pressed to the right side and restricts the forward/backward movement of the indicator plate 5. The cover plate 7 includes a restricting guide part 7a which can be relatively moved forward/backward with respect to the lock plate 6 and is housed in the housing rack 4b to slide to the right and left, has an insertion part 7c on the left side inserted between a pair of engagement projections 6e of the upper surface of the lock plate 6, and includes an insertion hole 7b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
