<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold region type outdoor air cooling building, which prevents blowing of snow into the outdoor air introduction path and attachment of the snow to the outdoor air introduction port to be frozen, and prevents production of dew condensation on inner and outer surfaces caused by cooling of the casing of a mixer or the outdoor air introduction path by the very low temperature outdoor air in a winter season. <P>SOLUTION: In the cold region outdoor air cooling building 1, the multilayer building of even-number floors constituted of an outer wall 12 and an inner wall 11 to define a building space, a roof and floors connected to the outer wall 12 includes: a heat generation source housing room 2; a space 6 under the roof; a machine room 51 equipped with an air conditioner 51; an outdoor air introduction room 3 introducing the outdoor air; and an outdoor air and recirculating air mixing room 4 for mixing the outdoor air and recirculating air. The outdoor air introduction room 3 is provided between the inner wall 11 and the outer wall 12 with two floors as one set, and has a structure such that the outdoor air is introduced from a downward opening provided in an eave soffit 13 formed in the outer wall 12.
