A thermoplastic toner composition comprising a mixture of an amorphous thermoplastic polymer wherein the polymer is derived from at least one bio-based monomer is disclosed. The polymer has a Tg between about 50'C and about 80'C. A colouring agent dispersed in the amorphous thermoplastic polymer and the toner comprises a powder having a mean particle size of less than about 30 [tm.
