A system of the present invention allows owners of various commercial establishments including and not limited to hotels, motels, and any other commercial establishments that rent or lease spaces for short terms or long term use to patrons to provide the patron with incentives such as loyalty points (“green points”) in exchange for the patron's efficient and economical use of consumer energy. The system includes several components operably communicated with one another for calculating usage of electricity and water, compare actual usage of electricity and water with a predetermined amount or value of electricity and water usage for a particular premises such as a room in the hotel, a rental apartment, an office space and the like based on a season, geographic location of the premises. |
