COLLAGEN POWDER AND/OR COLLAGEN-DERIVED POWDER, AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR SAME

Disclosed is a production method for a collagen powder and/or a collagen-derived powder, characterized by: the dispersal of a course collagen precipitate containing collagen precipitate with an average particle diameter 1-1,000 µm and/or 12-50 wt% of collagen-derived precipitate, in a hydrophilic organic solvent; isolation of solids; and drying. The precipitate can be dehydrated by dispersal of same in the hydrophilic organic solvent and the obtained solids can be air dried. Furthermore, the obtained collagen powder and/or a collagen-derived powder have excellent solubility due to the expanded surface area and excellent handling because the average particle diameter is 8-1,000 µm.
