<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information measuring apparatus in which a communication state between a transmission part and a reception part is made excellent when measuring biological information while a gripping device is detached. <P>SOLUTION: The biological information measuring apparatus 1 includes a body device 10 which is provided on a mounting part 11 and includes a foot measuring part for measuring the biological information of a user, and the gripping device 30 which is provided with a display part 44 for displaying the biological information measured by the foot measuring part. Also, the body device 10 and the gripping device 30 are each attachable to and detachable from the other. The housing part 20 of the body device 10 is provided with the transmission part 17 for transmitting signals including a measurement result of the foot measuring part to the gripping device 30 by infrared light. The gripping device 30 is provided with a gripping body part 40 which is provided with the display part 44 and can be fitted to the housing part 20. On the upper part of the body, a rod-shaped gripping part 31 extending in a right and left direction is provided.
