<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book storage management system capable of reading radio tags of almost all books accommodated in an accommodation space of a container by radiating an electromagnetic wave to a wide range while securing a communication distance of the electromagnetic wave emitted by a tag reader. <P>SOLUTION: The book storage management system includes the container 6 whose inside surrounded by a first side wall 26 and a second side wall 27 is formed in the accommodation space 21 opened upward for accommodation the books 4, and further includes the tag reader 15 which is arranged in a direction that the electromagnetic wave is radiated into the accommodation space 21 from an upper position than the second side wall 27, which can read the identification information of the radio tag using the electromagnetic wave. An antenna surface 37 for transmitting and receiving the electromagnetic wave in the tag reader 15 forms an almost rectangular shape long horizontally which has a length dimension L1 which is equal to or longer than a half of a horizontal dimension M1 of the container 6, and also has a vertical dimension L2 at which the electromagnetic wave can reach an inner side of the accommodation space 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
