<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress decrease in data transfer efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A communication unit includes a card edge connector 323 compliant with a PCI Express Standard, a cable connector 322 which can be connected to an optical active cable 500 for transmitting data, and a PCI Express switch 321 compliant with the PCI Express Standard which is connected to the cable connector 322 and to the card edge connector 323 with a bandwidth larger than the one with the cable connector 322, and relays data between the card edge connector 323 and the cable connector 322. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
