The manufacturing method of the present invention is characterized by self-propagating high temperature synthesis (SHS) of a raw material having ZrO2, ZrSiO4, KZr2(PO4)3, or zirconium raw ore having the mixture thereof, and a reducing agent that is metal powder, to manufacture zirconium intermetallic compound or zirconium nitride, followed by the recovery of high-purity Zr by electrolytic-refining the reaction product of the SHS. |
