The method involves filling a component in a container to be filled by a filling unit (2). The component of the liquid filler container is transported to another filling unit (4). A filling capacity of the component is determined after the filling of the component in the container. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device with a quantity measuring device; and (2) a filling unit with a flowable product.
