PURPOSE: A keyboard input system with a fixed position of fingers on screen and a method thereof are provided to assign a great number of input keys on a keyboard to a limited button space, thereby inputting without looking at the screen. CONSTITUTION: A keyboard input always starts from a fixed finger position button(11). Eight neighboring buttons or spaces(12) are arranged around the fixed finger position button. Input keys on a keyboard are assigned to a different key along movement direction or order of a finger, depending on a series of touch down operation of the fixed finger position button or neighboring buttons/spaces, crossing operation of a part of nine button areas, and a touch up operation.
