PURPOSE: A method, a system and a computer-readable recording medium for providing information by using a content-based caching key are provided to prevent the waste of storage capacity by flexibly using a caching key depending on the content size. CONSTITUTION: When a content request information is received, a caching key generator(210) generates a content-based caching key including a part of the content by using the information. A information providing unit(220) searches data with the content-based caching key, and provides the searched content to an end user terminal. The content request information includes a URI(Uniform Resource ID) of the content. The part of the content includes a header and some of data area of the content file.
