PURPOSE: An access point for a wireless communication connection and a method thereof are provided to determine whether a linking device is registered with a transmitted response signal, thereby making wireless communication between the access point and a host device. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(130) broadcasts a beacon message. A linking device is separated from an access point and connected to an external host device. A control unit(150) receives a first signal from the linking device as a response signal for the beacon message. The control unit determines whether the linking device is registered in a storage unit based on the first signal. The control unit wirelessly communicates with the host device.
