PURPOSE: A display device, a system thereof and a method thereof are provided to apply external force on an operating element with a simple configuration and a high degree of freedom in operation according to the contents of an image. CONSTITUTION: A detecting unit(100) detects a location of an operating element(20) with a magnetic member on a display surface of a display unit(200). An external force applying unit(300) applies an external force to the operating element with a magnetic member by generating magnetic fields within a space of the display surface depending on the location of the operating element and the contents of an image displayed by the display unit. The detecting unit with an imaging unit detects the location of the operating element based on the image of the operating element generated by the imaging unit.
