FIELD: information technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: method to verify the message DHCPRELEASE, including retrieval of IP-address (Internet protocol address) from the field ciaddr of the message DHCPRELEASE; detection of a tunnel-associated IP-address, which is the IP-address, associated with the tunnel, from which the message DHCPRELEASE is received; comparison of the IP-address and the tunnel-associated IP-address for availability of compliance; and release of the IP-address, if there is compliance. ^ EFFECT: provides for the possibility to avoid the necessity in performance of procedures for authentication of the DCHP-message. ^ 42 cl, 6 dwg |
