PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy brazing sheet used as a tube material for heat exchangers and the like which achieves thinning wall by improving strength and formability without positively adding Mg.
SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy brazing sheet has a core material of an aluminum alloy containing 1.2-1.8% Mn, 0.4-1.3% Si, 0.21-0.5% Fe, and 0.5 to 1.3% Cu, with the balance being Al and unavoidable impurities, wherein one side of the core material is clad with a sacrificial material and the other side is clad with an Al-Si-based or Al-Si-Zn-based brazing filler metal; and the sheet has a thickness of 0.20 mm or less. When the sheet is subjected to heat treatment at 595°C for one minute corresponding to brazing, the resulting sheet has a tensile strength of 170 MPa or more and an average crystal grain diameter of the core material falls in the range of 30-120 μm.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
