METHOD AND DEVICE FOR INQUIRING TRAFFIC INFORMATION OF ELECTRONIC MAP

<p>A method and device for inquiring traffic information of an electronic map are disclosed. The solution is proposed for resolving the problem that the existing electronic map is only capable of displaying static position information of a road and is incapable of displaying the real-time traffic information of the road, and is adapted for the field of traffic service. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining an inquiring request for real-time traffic information of a traffic unit for a user (S101); building a mapping relation of the traffic unit inquired by the user and a position unit in the navigation electronic map (S102); transmitting the real-time traffic information of the road of the position unit in the navigation electronic map corresponding to the traffic unit inquired by the user to the navigation electronic map of the user, enabling that the navigation electronic map of the user displays the traffic information of the traffic unit inquired by the user (S103).</p>
