<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of suppressing temperature rise in a container in opening a door and shortening a freezing speed while securing storage quality of stored food. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes: a refrigerator body 2 having a storage compartment partitioned in a thermally insulating way; a door for putting in and taking out food to the storage compartment; a container for storing the food; a cold accumulating plate 150 having a cold accumulating material 150a inside installed in at least one container; and cooling means for cooling the cold accumulating plate 150 and the storage compartment.
