<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in the conventional digital camera in regard to setting an aspect ratio of a set target to an optimal value for an object substance image intended to be imaged, because an operation is required to manually input vertical and horizontal dimensions of the object substance image intended to be imaged, after actually measuring the dimensions. <P>SOLUTION: A rectangular frame 43 displayed on a monitor 11 is fitted to an object frame 42 of an object substance image 41a. The aspect ratio of the object frame 42 is obtained from a vertical-to-horizontal ratio of the rectangular frame 43 fitted to the object frame 42. A mask frame 51 having the obtained aspect ratio is displayed on the monitor 11. Thus, because the aspect ratio of the object frame 42 is automatically obtained from the vertical-to-horizontal ratio of the rectangular frame 43 fitted to the object frame 42, the aspect ratio optimal to the object substance image 41a can easily be set, differently from the conventional method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
