<p>[Problem] To provide an electronic device with wireless communication function that does not necessitate a work, which involves attaching an antenna and routing a cable from a feeding unit of the antenna and that, therefore, can significantly reduce the assembling cost. [Solution] In an electronic device, an electronic component (e.g., encoder) (1) having an operating body (10) is mounted on a circuit board (2), and a control unit (4) is used to perform a processing in accordance with an input operation of the operating body (10). In the electronic device: a transmission line (7) is used to connect a wireless communication unit (5) and a matching circuit (6) that are placed on the circuit board (2); a transmission line (8) is used to connect a predetermined position (leg member (16c)) of an attachment plate (16) and the matching circuit (6) so as to cause those attachment members (the attachment plate (16) and a shell case (13)) of the electronic component (1), which are made of metallic materials and not grounded, to act as an antenna; and the predetermined position is used as a feeding unit. In this way, there is provided an electronic device with wireless communication function that requires no dedicated antenna.</p> |
