<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine starter capable of improving convenience of starting with an electronic key while satisfying demands for reducing the scale of an engine starter and for safety. <P>SOLUTION: The engine starter is configured in such a manner that: a rotor 3 is rotatably disposed inside a rotor cylinder 6; a key hook 4 is disposed so as to be movable in a direction perpendicular to the insertion direction of a key, in a component placing portion 3b formed inside the cylinder side face 3a of the rotor 3; and the key hook 4 can be moved outside in a perpendicular direction to the insertion direction of the key only when the key hook 4 is at an initial position (at the off position of an electronic key 2) by the movement allowing hole 6a and the movement restricting wall 6b of the rotor cylinder 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
