<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the volume of a cylinder by increasing the height of the cylinder, and to prevent deterioration in performance of a compressor. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary compressor includes a cylinder 6 with an intake port 11, a piston 9 which is disposed in the cylinder 6 and eccentrically rotated, and a vane 10 for partitioning the inside of the cylinder into a suction chamber 12 and a compression chamber 13. A single refrigerant composed of a refrigerant in which hydrofluoroolefin having a double bond between carbons is used as a base component, or a mixed refrigerant containing the refrigerant, is used as a working refrigerant. A plurality of intake holes 11a and 11b constituting the intake port 11 are provided adjacent to each other in the height direction of the cylinder. Thus, a larger suction area than the case where only one intake hole is used can be secured, and intake pressure loss can be suppressed to improve performance of the compressor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
