PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device which can reduce an estimated error of a channel characteristic.

SOLUTION: A pilot carrier extraction and code reproduction unit 105 extracts a pilot carrier from a subcarrier and performs code reproduction. A delaying unit 106 delays the code reproduced pilot carrier. A pilot carrier level calculation unit 107 calculates electric power of the pilot carrier. A pilot carrier level determination unit 108 determines whether the electric power of the pilot carrier is at or below a threshold value. A pilot carrier level fluctuation detection unit 109 detects variation of the pilot carrier on the time axis. A pilot carrier replacement unit 110 replaces the pilot carrier with a pilot carrier made by combining a pilot carrier generated by performing interpolation and extrapolation of variation in the frequency axis direction and a pilot carrier generated by performing interpolation and extrapolation of variation in the time axis direction when the electric power of the pilot carrier is at or below the threshold value and the variation is larger than a threshold value.
