<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical component capable of preventing a connection failure of a terminal when the electrical component is surface-mounted on a circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: A surface-mounting type connector 1 to be mounted on the surface of a circuit board comprises a housing 11 for supporting a connector structure, a plurality of contacts 12 that are fixed on the housing 11 and face the circuit board in a mounted posture, and solder balls 13 that are fixed to each of the contact 12 so as to protrude downward.
