The invention relates to a post for an end terminal for a safety barrier, the end terminal comprising at least one rail and a number of posts to support the rail or rails, wherein each post comprises an upper part and a lower part which upper and lower part are connected to each other in such a manner that the upper and lower part of the post disconnects under a predetermined load.
