The switchable shaft-hub connection comprises a solid shaft with external teeth and a hollow shaft with a claw (9). The solid shaft is rotatably mounted in the hollow shaft. A coupling portion (8) is provided, which has internal teeth and claws (10), particularly in the circumferential direction spaced from each other. The claws of the coupling portion are arranged with corresponding claws of the hollow shaft, particularly for the passage of torque from the solid shaft to the hollow shaft through the coupling portion. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device comprises a main drive and an auxiliary drive; and (2) a method for operating of a switchable shaft-hub connection.
