<p>Disclosed is a solid state imaging device, with an n-pixel 1-cell structure, that suppresses deterioration of image quality in a synchronous curtain shutter mode. Specifically disclosed is a solid-state imaging device (200) comprising a plurality of unit cells (211) that include an n number of pixels as one unit, an imaging region (210) wherein the plurality of unit cells (211) are arranged in a matrix of rows, and a row scanning unit (220) that scans the plurality of pixels in the imaging region in row units. The row scanning unit (220) simultaneously completes a pixel reset operation, which is processing that resets a photodiode (701) corresponding to a transfer transistor (702), for all pixels in a unit cell when performing pixel reset scanning, in the synchronous curtain shutter mode which starts exposure of an imaging region (210) by pixel resent scanning which is performed in row units, and ends exposure of imaging regions (210) by cutting out light with a curtain shutter (102) disposed on an incident light optical path.</p> |
