<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously annealing a steel sheet suitable for annealing the steel sheet containing an easily oxidizable element such as Si, which stably obtains a low dew point atmosphere with less pickup defects and less problems of a furnace wall damage and prevents the easily oxidizable element such as Si or Mn in steel from being concentrated on the surface of the steel sheet during annealing and an oxide of the easily oxidizable element such as Si or Mn from being formed. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the method for continuously annealing the steel sheet, wherein an atmospheric gas of a temperature range of 600°C or more of a steel sheet temperature is contacted with a solid containing 1 mass% or more of C, and the moisture in the atmospheric gas and the C in the solid are reacted to reduce a dew point of the atmospheric gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
