<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for automatic pouring of molten metal which can realize a small size of a melting furnace and a pouring device even when a pouring weight becomes heavy, and which can perform stable pouring, and a facility for the method. <P>SOLUTION: In the pouring method, a mold M which has not been poured is moved in a direction parallel to a transfer direction of the mold, in a direction orthogonal to the transfer direction of the mold and in a vertical direction, and positioning of a pouring gate formed at the mold and a tapping gate of the pouring device C is carried out based on mold data transmitted from a mold transferring device A, while the pouring amount poured to the mold is measured by a weight measuring device.
