发明名称 Device for influencing temperature of molten glass in glass manufacturing plant, comprises trough-like portion that is continuously fed with molten glass, and downstream processing portion for further processing of molten glass
摘要
The device comprises a trough-like portion (1) that is continuously or discontinuously fed with a molten glass, and a downstream processing portion (2) for further processing of the molten glass in a connection, where heating electrodes (20) are arranged in the trough-like portion for heating the molten glass. An inner liner made of metal is arranged in the processing portion to electrically heat the molten glass, and lines wall sections of the processing portion. A sacrificial electrode (23, 26) or a sacrificial element is provided in an area of an expiration of the trough-like portion. A sacrificial electrode (23, 26) or a sacrificial element is: provided in an area of an expiration of the trough-like portion or the processing portion, where the electrode consists of ignoble metal as the metal of the inner liner; and held on a positive direct current potential compared to the heating electrodes. The expiration is: opened to continuously drain some of the molten glass when a heating voltage is applied to the heating electrodes; and provided at a lower end of the trough-like section and/or in a flow dead space of the trough-like section or as an overflow at an upper end of the processing section. A minimal distance between the sacrificial electrode or the sacrificial element and an associated front end of the inner liner is less than the minimum distance between the heating electrodes and the associated front end of the inner liner. An electrical resistance of the molten glass between the sacrificial electrode or the sacrificial element and an associated front end of the inner liner is less than an electrical resistance of the molten glass between the heating electrodes and the associated front end of the inner liner. The heating electrodes and the sacrificial electrode or the sacrificial element consist of different metals, where the metal of the sacrificial electrode or the sacrificial element is less noble than the metal of the heating electrodes and the metal of the inner liner. A predetermined potential located direct current voltage is applied at the sacrificial electrode or the sacrificial element over the inner liner. The heating electrodes and the sacrificial electrodes or the sacrificial element consist of the same metal that is less noble than the metal of the inner liner. The trough-like portion is formed from a refractory material, where the inner side of the trough-like portion is not lined and/or designed with a metal plate to keep the molten glass at a predetermined temperature. The processing section is a pipe pulling head of a glass tube manufacturing plant, which is fed over a narrowing portion (7) of the trough-like portion. An independent claim is included for a method of influencing the temperature of a molten glass in a trough-like section.
