<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control reception device capable of receiving a transmission signal from a wide range with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A remote control reception unit 25 includes: a light reception module 401 for receiving signal light to perform remote control; and a light guide member 300 having a light reception surface 301a for receiving the signal light, refracting the signal light received by the light reception surface 301a, and allowing the light to be oriented to the light reception module 401. A depression 303 depressed from the light reception surface 301a toward the light reception module 401 side is formed in the light guide member 300.
