<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior part for a vehicle, easily manufactured and made excellent in the shape or visual quality of the appearance while improving the terminal accuracy of the end part, and to provide a method of manufacturing the interior part. <P>SOLUTION: The interior part for a vehicle (door trim 1) includes a base material 2 provided with, in order: a first skin layer 2A; a resin foaming layer 2B; and a second skin layer 2C; wherein the surface on a second skin layer side is used as a design surface. A flat tongue piece part 3, obtained by crushing the base material from the second skin layer side to a first skin layer side, is formed in the end part of the interior part for a vehicle, and the tongue piece part is bent to the first skin layer side. Further, a projecting part 4, formed so as to project from the surface of the first skin layer side with a size (T) more than a size (t) of the thickness of the tongue piece part, is provided in a position, which is on the surface on the first skin layer side and is more far from the end part than a position, which the tip of the bent tongue piece part reaches. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
