A unit of edge-trimming shears includes trimming shears containing a pair of circular cutters located from both sides symmetrically about the longitudinal axis of the unit, said cutters are connected to a drive of their rotation and are installed in housings fastened to a carriage connected to the drive of its cross movement along guides of a base frame, and scrap cutters, which are also placed symmetrically on both sides of the longitudinal axis of the unit and contain a pair of driving drums with cutters mounted in the housings connected to the housings of edge-trimming shears and carriage, and the connection of both housings in the unit is made with possibility of reciprocating movement of the housing of scrap cutters relative to the housing of edge-trimming shears and carriage. Each housing of edge-trimming shears and carriage guide are mounted, and on the housing of scrap cutters the bearing surfaces are made that interact with the above guides, also on the carriage a drive of reciprocating movement of housings of scrap cutters is also installed, moreover, the cutting edge of scrap cutters along the length consists of two parts - working and backup. |
