PURPOSE: An anti-inflammatory composition containing omega-3-based lysophosphatidyl choline hydroxide derivative or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is provided to suppress peritonitis. CONSTITUTION: An omega-3-based lysophosphatidyl choline hydroxide derivative is denoted by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, A is -HC=CH-HC=CH- or -HC=CH-CH2-CH2-. The derivative is 15-hydroxyeicosapentaenoyl lysophosphatidyl choline(15-HEPE-lysoPC) or 17-hydroxy docoxahexaenoyl lysophosphatidyl choline(17-HDHE-lysoPC). A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating inflammatory diseases contains the derivative or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient.
