<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of reclaimed concrete made from waste concrete increasingly produced in recent years by the demolition of buildings or the like by using a concrete production process within the scope of conventional technologies without requiring special equipment. <P>SOLUTION: Vibration is given to the raw material for a specific period of time during its mixing process in a mixer to peel off the old powder attached on the surface of reclaimed aggregate. Thus, the strength of the concrete is increased as the adhesion of mortar is improved, which results in an improved quality of the reclaimed concrete, even if the reclaimed aggregate of the waste concrete is a lightly treated one. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
