PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for a motor driven compressor for actualizing simple and inexpensive construction as a whole by using software for finding the winding temperature of a motor of the motor driven compressor without mounting a temperature sensor, and to provide its device. SOLUTION: The control method for the motor driven compressor comprises computing and finding the winding temperature of the motor from the discharge pressure of the motor driven compressor, the rotating speed of the motor and an input current in a motor drive mechanism.
