PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress effect on operation as much as possible at the time of backup of original data. SOLUTION: The device includes: a backup original list table 14 which stores a list of original data in association with medium names; a backup medium management table 15 which stores the medium names in association with alteration verification states; an original backup part 16 which backs up original data stored in the original storage part 12 without verifying alteration thereof; an alteration verification part 17 which verifies alteration in reference to the original data stored in the original storage part 12 based on the backup original list table 14, and gives information certifying the integrity to the verified data in the backup original list table 14; and a restoration part 18 which restores, when alteration is verified, the original databased on original data of the latest generation stored in the backup medium.
