<p>The device comprises a preform (5) for receiving a glass drop (6), a piston (1) to press the drop, a clamping device for fixing a glass edge formed by pressing, a gas supply for pre-blowing and final blowing, and a unit provided to the drop. The press piston comprises a pressure sleeve (2) on its outer circumference, which is introduced in the pressing process in a predetermined position, where the variation in the amount of the glass takes place on the press piston. A lower portion of the pressure sleeve has a diameter equal to the outer diameter of the press piston. The press piston comprises a pressure sleeve (2) on its outer circumference, which is introduced in the pressing process in a predetermined position, where the variation in the amount of the glass takes place on the press piston. A lower portion of the pressure sleeve has a diameter equal to the outer diameter of the press piston to seal between the top- and bottom-sides of the press piston. An upper portion has a larger diameter to release an annular gap between the press piston and the pressure sleeve. The pressure sleeve has an upper wall to form an enclosed space between the top of the piston and the pressure sleeve, where the space is connected to the gas supply and/or a gas outlet. The unit is provided to the drop in the preform so that shear marks (6a) of the drop are arranged outside of lateral sides of the drop. The gas supply has a pre-blowing valve, a final blowing valve and a ventilation valve, where a gas pressure of the pre-blowing valve is lower than the gas pressure of the final blowing valve. An independent claim is included for a method for producing blown hollow bodies from glasses.</p> |
