PURPOSE: An optical fiber cable is provided to prevent the rotation of an optical fiber cable around a rigid member by attaching the rigid member to an external sheath with a bonding layer. CONSTITUTION: An optical fiber cable(100) comprises an optical fiber(110), rigid members(120,125,130), an external sheath(150), and grooves(160,165). The optical fiber transfers an optical signal. The optical fiber is placed between a plurality of rigid members. The external sheath surrounds the optical fiber and the rigid members. A plurality of grooves is formed in the outer side surface of the external sheath. At least one of a plurality of the rigid members coats the bonding layer on an outer circumference. |
