PURPOSE: A method and a device for driving an LCD of dot inversion method are provided to detects a touch using a stirring common voltage while preventing the deterioration of the picture quality in an medium-to-large-sized LCD. CONSTITUTION: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel driving device generates an alternating signal. The device adds the signal of a different electric potential to the alternating signal. The device sanctions the signal to an input terminal of a common voltage generator(73) and a gamma voltage generator(72). The device sanctions the alternation common voltage whish is generated from the common voltage generator to a common electrode. According to the common voltage, the gamma voltage generator generates data voltage in which polarity makes a reverse turn. |
