DEVICE FOR FOLDING ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY

PURPOSE: A folding device of stack/folding type electrode assembly is provided to increase rotation speed without change of existing device, thereby improving process efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A folding device comprises: a web supply part, in which a plate-like unit cells are arranged with constant gap, on the top of a separating film; a winding jig for rotating the first unit cell of the web to laminate unit cells in order with the state of being inserted of the separating film; and a rotary axis correction part for location-collecting the rotary axis of the winding jig in the progress direction of the web. The rotary axis correction part periodically change the location of the rotary axis to the compensating amount of the X axis speed change(Vx) of the web, which is generated during the winding of flat-type unit cell, for maintaining the tensile strength of the web constantly.
