The adjustment device has a clutch cover (22) for partially covering a pressure plate (12) for pressing a clutch disk between the pressure plate and a counter plate. A bevel (40) is provided for relative rotation of a ramp ring (30) in circumferential direction to a counter ramp (28) for adjusting an error distance between the pressure plate and the counter plate. A ratchet plate is provided which has a fastening arm (44) for fastening with the pressure plate and a stop arm (46) for direct or indirect attachment at the ramp ring. An independent claim is also included for a friction clutch with a return spring.
