<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake damage prediction device and a program that predict how much buildings are damaged by seismic ground motion with a high degree of accuracy in short time. <P>SOLUTION: The earthquake damage prediction device generates a plurality of seismic waves in an area in which object buildings of damage prediction are built by changing phases using a random number for each of a plurality of magnitudes (step 200); makes dynamic elastoplasticity analysis by a mass system model using the plurality of seismic waves to derive physical quantities indicative of predetermined building response indexes (steps 202-206); stratifies the derived physical quantities, and selects seismic waves corresponding to some of physical quantities included in the layer for each stratified layer (steps 208, 210); makes dynamic elastoplasticity analysis by a three-dimensional frame model using the selected seismic waves to derive damage states for each member used for the building (step 212); and predicts a damage extent of the building by the seismic ground motion based upon the damage states (steps 214-224). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
