<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker that includes inside thereof weight detection means so as to measure weight of a pan and cooked foodstuffs, displays and indicates the weight for cooking with no failure, and consumes neither unnecessary time nor electric power to improve user's convenience. <P>SOLUTION: The heating cooker comprises a heating coil 7 which heats a body to be heated such as the pan 9 in which cooked stuffs are put, a plate 10 on which the body to be heated is placed, control means 11 of controlling the heating coil, the weight detection means 4 of detecting the weight of the plate 10, and a weight display part 5 which displays a weight value of the body to be heated computed from a weight value detected by the weight detection means 4. With this constitution, the weight detection means detects the weight in a state where the body to be heated is placed on the plate 10, and the detection result is displayed by the weight display part 5 of a main body.
