<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door closer, which is related to a hydraulic door closer enclosing hydraulic oil, that features an automatic door-opening section, automatic door-closing section and a rotatable section in a rotation section of the door and is excellent in safety and durability. <P>SOLUTION: In a door closer, a cylinder chamber is filled with hydraulic oil, a piston is slidably housed, a compression spring which is compressed by the piston so as to automatically close the door is housed, a turning shaft interlocking with the rotation of the door is provided, a hydraulic oil passage for working oil is provided in the cylinder chamber and in the piston, rack teeth are provided in the piston, pinion teeth corresponding to the rack teeth are provided in the turning shaft, and the turning shaft and the piston are engaged so as to slide the piston in the cylinder chamber. A rotation section of the door comprise a first breaking section in which energization force of the compression spring is stored by sliding the piston, a rotatable section in which the energization force of the compression spring is suppressed so as to bring the piston to a standstill at a prescribed position, and a second breaking section in which the piston slides by means of the stored energization force of the compression spring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
