<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem of a conventional structure: a pivot pin for pivoting a seat back frame with respect to a cushion frame is not located in the center of a lower pipe, so that a seat cushion frame requires a reinforced wide face for receiving an impact from the seat back frame at the time of collision. <P>SOLUTION: A seat back frame mounting structure comprises: a seat back frame in which a pivot axis is aligned with an axial center of a reclining mechanism mounted on the vehicle outside of a seat cushion frame, and includes a lower pipe having an opening end on the vehicle inside; a seat cushion side frame formed on the vehicle inside of the seat cushion frame to couple the seat back frame to the seat cushion frame; and a hat-shaped hinge bracket having a recess directed to the vehicle outside and coupled to the seat cushion side frame with a caulking pin. The opening end of the lower pipe is inserted and fitted into the recess of the hat-shaped hinge bracket for welding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
