<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support device capable of performing more effective parking support. <P>SOLUTION: A drawing operation part 21 and a display 31 displaying the video of a rear side of an own vehicle VM display locus L2 and L3 following when the own vehicle VM retreats from a currently positioned point of the own vehicle to be superposed on the video of a rear side of the own vehicle VM, when the own vehicle advances, display a locus having the locus L2 to be a curved part and a locus L3 to be a linear part and change and display the length of the locus L2 to be a curved part according to an angle formed by the rear and front direction of a parking frame P at which the own vehicle is to park and the rear and front direction of the own vehicle VM. Thereby, a driver can intuitively and easily recognize a guide for operation of retreating the own vehicle VM from the currently positioned point of the own vehicle VM while turning the own vehicle VM and retreating the own vehicle VM with a steering angle of 0 at a position where directions of the own vehicle VM and the parking frame P are made parallel to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
