摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of welding aluminum materials by which weld metal is sufficiently penetrated into a first aluminum base material and a lap welded joint excellent in joint efficiency is formed as suppressing the excessive convexity of the weld metal. <P>SOLUTION: In this method of welding the aluminum materials, when a second aluminum base material 2 and a third aluminum base material 3, the joining ends 2a, 3a of which are made into a V-shaped groove shape are lapped by having each joining end 2a, 3a butted against each other on a first aluminum base material 1 and the second aluminum base material 2 and the first aluminum base material 1 and the respective joining ends 2a, 3a of the second aluminum base material 2 and the third aluminum base material 3 are welded by MIG welding method, the thickness of the each aluminum base material 1, 2, 3, the groove angle &theta; and the root gap (a) of the second aluminum base material 2 and the third aluminum base material 3, and the weld speed V and weld heat input amount Q during welding each fall within a prescribed range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
