ENERGY REGENERATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy regeneration system which can diagnose the failure of a system without providing a sensor detecting the failure of equipment.

SOLUTION: The energy regeneration system in which an electric motor is rotatively driven by a regeneration motor includes: a pressure detection means 91 for detecting the pressure P of working oil supplied to regeneration motor; a regeneration valve opening degree detection means 92 for detecting the opening degree A of the regeneration means 92; a torque theoretical value calculation means 94 for calculating a theoretical value Ttmax and Ttmin generated in the regeneration motor corresponding to the detected pressure P of the working oil and the detected opening degree A of the regeneration valve; a generated torque detection means 93 for detecting the generated torque of the regeneration motor; and a generated torque T failure determining means 95 for determining the failure of the produced torque T by comparing the detected regenerated torque of the regeneration motor with the theoretical value Ttmas and Timin.
